Goodbye to Bernard- a true friend of the Licensed Trade

It is with a heavy heart that we have to inform you that Bernard (Raymond) Wright passed away on July 25th this year at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital aged 65 years. Bernard was a well-known figure in the local business community, particularly in the automotive and the licensed trades.

Although Bernard was a very busy man he always found time to dedicate to others and was a member of Norwich Inns (he went on most of the trips!) and the NN LVA, attending committee meetings and assisting with a variety of projects that helped others in the licensed trade. Only a couple of months ago he was calling licensees to see how the NN LVA could provide their services. This was in his own time and at his own expense.

Bernard's wife Marlene his children Christopher and Caroline, daughter-in-law Georgina, son-in-law Leon and his grandchildren Kieran (6) and Kayleigh (2) have in Bernard a person who leaves behind him a legacy of hard work, great friendships and a reputation for being liked and respected. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends.

Bernard Wright - RIP
