BEWARE OF FAKE I.D's

Licensees in city centre pubs in Oxford have confiscated scores of fake ID's in a new drive against under-age drinking.

Supported by city centre management company and Oxford Police, the PubWatch licensees are stressing the importance of the campaign to staff and putting up new posters in their bars.

They have created posters to set out what is an acceptable form of proof - a passport, a driving licence or a card bearing the official PASS hologram.

Under-age drinkers who do not have these forms of identification are having their 'fake' ID cards confiscated by staff.
