Booker Backing British Food Fortnight (23

Booker is celebrating British Food Fortnight with a series of promotions on British products which runs from 23 September to 8 October.

From September 15 to October 12, the cash & carry group is offering 10 per cent savings on its Chef's Larder brand premium Welsh lamb and premium British extra mature beef, as well as selected British cheese, fruitt and vegetables.

Booker's catering development managers will also be able to provide posters and menu cards aimed at driving sales during the fortnight.

Ron Hickey, Booker director of catering, said. "British Food Fortnight provides caterers with a unique selling point for their businesses to make their establishments a destination. This is a great time to promote British produce and we have specially selected the products to ensure some favourite British meals can be created."
