From The Chairman

A few thoughts since my article first published in our fantastic newsletter Open Doors way back in May...

A World Cup where the country expected and the football team disenchanted.

A heat wave in July and the only way to keep cool was to drink cider on ice.

The barbecue month of August was rained off.

September the kids went back to school then tried to get a pint in the local hostelry

October (2006)and still no news on next year's smoking ban legislation but plenty of news on how old people are splendid to employ

I am looking forward to our charity ball on the 24th of November. With the season to be jolly coming up it will be great to have a great night out before the mayhem!

Full details of the Charity Ball are provided on this site.

Looking ahead

On the 13th and 14th of May 2007 we shall be co-hosting the Eastern Hospitality Show at Duxford War Museum. We hope to have over a hundred exhibitors from leisure and catering trades. If you wish to exhibit or attend contact me for details
