Sally Gunnell backs British chicken

Former Olympic champion athlete Sally Gunnell is to front a 'buy British' campaign to encourage pubs and consumers to ask for home-reared chicken from their butcher.

Sally said: "I've got three young sons and try to feed my family a healthy, balanced diet- which includes chicken at least three times a week, as it is low in fat, nutritious and we all love it"

Chicken is the nation's favourite meat and accounts for more than 40 per cent of the meat consumed in the UK1.
