Smokefree Event on June 18

On Monday June 18 at the Forum in Norwich, Norwich City Council, all the Norfolk district and borough councils, Norfolk County Council and Norfolk PCT will be holding a free information event to help and advise the public about the new smoking laws coming into force on July 1.

On the day they will be providing information on a wide range of subjects including information for licensees, taxi and private hire drivers, hotels, B and Bs and businesses etc. Officers will be on hand to advise businesses how to ensure their smoking shelters comply with the law.

There will also be information for smokers on where they can and can't smoke and where they can get help giving up if they want to.
