Blows set for court on October 26

Smoke ban rebel Tony Blows is being prosecuted by his local council under the new law.

Blows, licensee of the Dog Inn, in Eways Harold, Herefordshire, will appear at Hereford magistrates on Friday, October 26, at 10am.

He faces two charges of failing to stop people smoking on his premises and one of smoking himself in his pub.

Blows is one of three licensees in England facing prosecution for allegedly breaching the smoking ban, which came into force in July.
